World Wednesday: Mongolia

Who does not wanna go to Mongolia?

It has been one of my childhood dreams. Yes, I am not lying. I was dreaming about traveling to off beaten places as a kid. I also remember distinctly wanting to live at a mountaintop. Maybe I was romanticizing a bit, but whatever, it was something I actually did think about. Like a way of escaping the everyday boredom as I saw it.

Even as a young person I realized that there is so much more to life than what you are presented with and handed. You just have to go out there and find it for yourself. And typing this makes me get a bit emotional as well. Seriously.

Mongolia, I will get to you!

Technology Tuesday: Interstellar on IMAX #HYPE!

So one of the best movies by far last year was Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar.
Recently it was announced that it would re-air on AMC IMAX cinemas, but just for one day. Man do I want to see that!

The problem is that AMC only has cinemas in the states and well, I live in Sweden. So tough luck for me I guess. but my hopes are up for it to air in Germany or in London. That is close enough and I would try my best to go.

The cool part about this new re-airing is that it is like a directors cut with 12 minutes of added footage. Hopefully that will be available some other way later on. I AM SO HYPED FOR THIS!

Maybe I’ll just have to celebrate my life by seeing it again tonight! Who is with me?
If you live in the states: here and here ou go. For us others, here, drool, read up, cry and flail around with your arms. I am doing that right now.

Life tip Monday: Breathe

Seriously, never forget to breathe. It sounds like a stupid thing to say. But to actually try to think about your breathing could help you getting into an almost meditative state. It keeps other thoughts out.

The next step is to actually meditate. And that might be a bit to much for some people. So to think about your breathing is enough to help you in your everyday life. It can help you cope in stressful or uncomfortable situations. It helped me in tournaments and before big presentations at university.

The next step after that is to actually meditate at a Buddhist temple.
I did, for 7 days. It was great!

World Wednesday: North Korea #2

I just had to watch this and also post about it. So, it is probably still Wednesday somewhere around the world!

I couldn’t stream though, so much hashtag life happening that no time was given!

Tomorrow though! See you then!

World Wednesday: North Korea

From time to time I get so into reading about North Korea. It is hard to explain but it is really fascinating.

Here, check out some pics of your own. I don’t want to post them here because I don’t own them.

Giant bomb also covered on of their members trip to the country, you can find it here.
(I don’t know if it was a premium feature, but I hope you can check it out)

There are also some books to read about it, this is one of the more popular ones

I haven’t read it but I think I will.

And here you go, the mass games in Pyongyang, with 100.000 of kids performing an Olympic-esque show, four days a week, three months a year. It is pretty insane.

Life tip monday #1

Don’t sleep all day, you’ll look like this.
In my defense, I was dreaming a lot of cool shit, like saving the world and going on awesome adventures.
So I should be happy.
Let’s be happy!
Let’s make the best out of our day :D!

And remember, don’t sleep all day!

Stuff I sometimes do

working-my-ass-off

Took me about 30 minutes fiddling with Photoshop. It is a banner for my Twitch stream 😀

It is pretty stupid!

The rest of my day has revolved around me fixing my PC, it has been running very unreliable for some time. Yesterday I researched a lot about what it could be and today I dove down into it. I think I managed pretty well. The problem was that sometimes it didn’t boot with my BIOS telling me that my overclocking couldn’t be applied, I could often not care about that and just reboot. But as of late it did not work. So I re-did all settings. I am now cruising around ~4GHz instead of .. I dunno, like 2.9GHz? It is an old core i7 920, so I am pretty happy to squeeze out a bit more out of it before something new is required.

TLDR. I Did good!
